The Mystery of Weather: A Fundraiser for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund

DATE: Thursday, June 30th

TIME:  6:30pm – 9:00pm

6:30 to 7:00 – Networking

7:00 to 9:00 – Speakers

LOCATION – 5th and K Street Busboys and Poets Restaurant, 1025 5th St NW Washington, DC 20001

GETTING THERE AND PARKING – Closest metros: Mt. Vernon Square and Gallery Place-Chinatown. Ample parking near venue.

ENTRY FEE – Entry to the show is free for ASPP members. There will be a suggested donation available of $5 to $20 per person. Guests are invited to attend and the event is open to the general public. All money will be donated directly to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

ASPP does not provide refreshments for the event, but Busboys and Poets has a full-service restaurant and bar.

Please join us on Monday, April 11th for the ASPP DC/South Spring Meet & Greet Cocktail Reception! This is a great opportunity to meet the new DC/South officers, enjoy local photography and mingle with your fellow ASPP DC/South members.

WHEN: Monday, April 11th, 6-8pm

WHERE: 2450 Crystal Drive, Arlington, VA 22202, 12th & 13th Floors.

Parking is free after 5pm in the garage on 23rd street & Crystal Drive (behind Jaleo) and the building is METRO accessible (blue line to Crystal City).

Entry to the exhibit is FREE and ASPP Members are encouraged to bring along a fellow picture professional.

American Society of Picture Professionals (ASPP) DC/South chapter invites its chapter members and guests to join us for  the first “DC Picture Show” in 2010. The DC Picture Show was launched in 2009 as the “Share, See and Sip” with three events throughout the year.  The DC Picture Show will kick off the first event on January 28, 2010 at Busboys and Poets in downtown Washington DC. The 2010 picture shows are slated in January, March, May, July, September, and November.

All the shows will be held at the 5th and K Street Busboys and Poets Restaurant in downtown Washington DC. The restaurant provides excellent audio/video facilities. Entry to the show is free for ASPP members. Non-members will be charged $5.00. ASPP does not provide refreshments for the event, but Busboys and Poets has a full-service restaurant and bar.
